As a kid I read everything I could about Charlie Fox and his beloved Letort Spring Run. At the age of 16 we drove to meet the man and was given permission to camp along this legendary stream that flowed behind his home. He was a true conservationist, a gentleman and an inspiration to many of us. Forty something years later I was honored with the award created in his memory. As an older kid that just likes to play in the water I am truly humbled beyond words. Thank you to all my friends at Cumberland Valley .......
