Welcome to the updated Signature Flies website. I reached a point a few years ago where I not longer wanted to spend my time tying custom fly orders which was a difficult choice. Tying has been such a large part of my life. A rare opportunity presented itself, and I had the chance to purchase what was left of tying material guru Jack Mickievicz’s unprocessed materials and dyes. This has been a leap of faith. Jack’s shoes were very large ones and I wanted to try to preserve his work, but under my own “Signature Materials” banner. It’s been an incredible journey, and I hope that tyers will like what I’m doing here. Everything offered here is processed and packaged in my own home shop. My goal is to offer tying materials that are unique from the “brick and mortar” shops and the things that I use in my own tying.
