A great song from the Moody Blues and appropriate lyrics to sing after the weeks of deluge we have experienced here in eastern Pennsylvania. “Lovely to see you again my friend, walk along with me till the next bend ….” The stream that flows close to my home was a raging torrent most of the time since early July, but underneath all of that angry water was the stream I was all too familiar with. All of those gentle runs, plunge pools, musical riffles and smooth glides that were tucked underneath the muddy water are now clear and visible again; slightly different, but there none the less. A great sight to see. So great to resume my love affair with the wild, speckled gems that call this place home. I’ve missed you! Lovely to see you again ………
