A very under-utilized feather! Their long fiber length and natural dark brown mottling make them perfect for imitating many mayfly nymph species when wrapped. They are also widely used for stonefly nymph wing cases. I use these for the abdomen on my “Half & Half” Emergers, Frenchie’s, and other small nymph patterns. Sold in pairs.
